Cyn posted baby pics of herself and husband to see the resemblance to their daughter. I thought it was a cute idea, so here are our photos. After looking at these, maybe Eli looks more like me (or less like Brent as a kid) than I thought. I think he looks like Brent now, but not so much as when Brent was a baby.

Astrid sent me the link to free photo editing software and I have been having so much fun! This is dangerous, I could spend more than a few late nights doing this. We had some fun this morning taking pictures in front of the living room windows. I wish I had photoshop and knew how to use it. I could make these look great. There is a course at Sait that I sometimes think of taking. Maybe one day! Here are a few of my favorites.

Eli and his fur brother Paul were the same height and weight for a short moment in time. He's no longer the smallest one in the family. Although, I think Paul is cheating in the height measurement in this pic.

And of course I can't forget to say Happy Birthday Dad!!!!! (which was yesterday) I couldn't go to the celebration since I caught the stomach flu. Boo. I hate to have had to miss it.

Michelle and Bryce got married last weekend in a very unique way. Really though, I'm pretty sure everyone who knows them really wasn't that surprised when they received their invitation for a Halloween wedding. I loved all of the little details of it. Talk about something different!

What a pain in the... wrist

My left wrist has been sore for months. It was one of those things that wasn't sore enough to worry about at first, but has been getting progressivley worse and worse. Now it's to the point where it's starting to interfere with my daily activities so I finally booked an appointment with the doctor. Now, being such an internet savy person, I did some "research" and have self diagnosed myself. (My doc is going to love that ha!) I'm pretty sure I have de Quervain’s Tendinitis. Sounds exotic doesn't it? One article I found writes that it is "a painful condition caused by inflammation of the tendons in the thumb. So common is the condition among women who have recently given birth that it is sometimes called ''new mom's syndrome.'' I hope the solution is fairly quick because it's really starting to get annoying. I think the choices are wear a wrist brace or get a steroid injection. We'll see what the doc recommends.

I'm excited for Halloween tomorrow and we are also attending a Costume Ball/Halloween Wedding on Saturday. I'll post pictures afterwards because I'm pretty sure we'll never attend another wedding like it in our lifetime. I'm going all out and even painting my face (which I'm not a fan of).
